Lucky for me, Steve was one of three plumbers I contacted when needed for a small job in my home. The second plumber was too busy, in other words, my small jobs were not worth his time, and as for the third im still waiting for his return call!

Steve arranged a day and time arrived promptly completed the job and charged what I thought was a reasonable fee.
At all times he is pleasant and helpful in answering and of my questions and concerns.
I have already recommended him to friends and I’m very pleased to have found a reliable and competent tradesman.

Re: the recent rainwater tank installation.

Steve,
I need to tell you that the installation of the external water tank has been very successful in meeting our backyard pool water replenishment needs. As you suggested, the 2800 litre tank was a good choice, taking into account the size of collection area and the need to gravity feed the pool when topping up.

To any other readers who may be considering a similar fitting, we can say that we are totally satisfied by the installation and placement of the tank, which was completed promptly at a competitive price.

Steve from Blaxland Plumbing has been our tradesperson of choice for some years now, providing prompt, cost effective new installations and home maintenance.

G’day Steve

After designing an external water sprinkling system (EWSS) to protect my family and home form the bush fire threat in the Blue Mountains, I called a number of plumbers to give me a quote and discuss the project. At the end of the day I had no trouble choosing your team from Blaxland Plumbing – as good old fashion experience courts for everything. You offered valuable suggestions to make my plans turn into reality, and I thank you for that. When I ran into difficulties and I called you, you gladly turned up promptly to solve my problems, and I can’t say that about too many others.

If you ever have an other EWSS to deploy for a customer in the future, but the customer has difficulty understanding what is involved, then you can gladly use my home as a reference site… it helps your customers understand how to protect their family and home from bush fires and what is required from a plumbing aspect.

Dear Mr Grant,

In answer to your letter I can say the following:

1. I chose you as my plumber for the tank installation because you seemed to be open and up front about the job. You know your product and what will suit the property. I appreciate a down to earth approach with no hidden costs.
2. Your benefits were reliability an accurate time frame and promptness.
3. Your instructions about the pump were useful as it ran dry during the long dry spell. I did remember how to re-boot it, but perhaps you should be more repetitive about this problem! Please explain to people there is only one rebate per house. This could affect people’s choice of style of tanks, Also tell them it takes four weeks for the rebate to come and the water board inspection, although they couldn’t come inside for us.
4. Yes I would recommend you to other women! Please realise many women get a bad deal from tradesmen, so that is great praise for you!
5. Additionally: my house originally must have had tanks. Now it is raining hard I no longer have a flood under the house! The plumbing was originally reserved for a tank to collect water. When the tank was taken away it caused a problem with damage. The house is now a lot drier inside! Something to consider in old houses.

relation to the work you did at my place.

I was pleased with the friendly and professional approach that you
exhibited in listened to my needs, and completing the job to a very
satisfactory standard.

I also recall a difficulty that you experienced when installing a flush
system from the water tank to our toilet cistern. You initially told me it
could not be done satisfactorily because the cistern was too old and small,
however, you continued to think about it and finally came up with a
solution to the problem on the following day.
