Heat Pumps

The Principal of a heat pump is like running a refrigerator in reverse where it takes heat from the air around us to heat the water.

At the top of the heat pump is a fan, which draws air through an evaporator. As air passes through the evaporator the latent heat in the air is absorbed into the refrigerant contained within the evaporator.

The refrigerant then passes through a compressor and by pressuring the refrigerant its temperature increases causing it to undergo a change from a cool gas to s upper heated gas.

At this point the super heated gas is pushed down into a condenser, which is located within the tank the heat then transfers from the condenser into the water.

The end result is lots of hot water, created quietly and efficiently
